Women Rock Philanthropy to Raise Over $764,000

The Women's Foundation of Collier County rolled out the red carpet again this year at Women Rock Philanthropy to recognize and celebrate the Women of Initiative and shatter their previous fundraising record to raise over $764,000 to provide housing and support services for senior women and empower young women and girls through scholarships and mentorships.

The 2024 honorees
Mary Susan Gallien Clinton, Anne Fleming, Barbie Hills, Angela Meister, and Carolyn "CAT" Tieger join an inspiring group, known as the Women of Initiative, selected annually for philanthropy, civic engagement, and going above and beyond to positively impact Collier County. Each of the 2024 honorees has made a significant philanthropic impact on the lives of local women and girls.
The rockin' event, emceed by Lois Thome of WINK News, featured a paddle raise led by Auctioneer Alyssa Quinlan of Freeman's | Hindman, who motivated an energized crowd of over 600 attendees to score a personal best fundraising record for the Women's Foundation of approximately $764,000 that will support programs and services for local senior women, young women, and girls.
"The Women's Foundation of Collier County cannot fulfill its mission without the generous support of our investors, sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and staff partners at the Community Foundation," said Althea Irving, Women's Foundation of Collier County board chair. "Thank you to everyone who supports us year-round, and a special thank you to those who helped us raise over $764K at our annual luncheon, Women Rock Philanthropy. You are making a tremendous difference in the lives of women and girls in Collier, each and every day."
The Women Rock Philanthropy luncheon was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, on November 22, 2024. Major sponsors include BMO Wealth Management, Wilson & Johnson Private Foundation, Gulfshore Life, and The Naples Press.
